Today I can clearly see
the sins that I have done
Trying not to feel the pain
that surrounds me 'till I'm gone
Every time I hold your hands
I am trying hard to confess
There's no escape from this world
Feel my life has now grown old
Staying low, because now I know

Paralyzing thoughts are running in my head
Helplessness is taking over, but not completely
Some goodness still remains

I have learned not to fight it
This will only make it worse
If I'll wait in patience
it might open up new doors

So it goes - life has ups and downs
A man needs to find his balance
I shouldn't let the world tell me who I am
I'll block the noise and listen to myself

Closeting down or opening up
depends what people have to say
Filtering is the only way for me to stay

Getting stronger and even stubborn
I don't know, no better way
Although it's harder, finally I feel
I'm getting somewhere, someplace better
Seems like I have found the truth
