One cold december morning not far away
A bell rang out the warning
The sky turned to grey
A beast with wings and fire was now in sight
Came hunting for his victims
An unholy flight

The same thing every winter
Been cursed for years
Tormented through the ages
So many tears
What man will have the courage to end the reign
Of the monster from above who brings us pain

Then out of the ashes a hero he did rise
He looked at the creature with no fear in his eyes
He faced his destiny on that fateful day
Then drew his mighty sword
This dragon he must slay

The battle raged for hours neither one would break
They fought with awesome fury
So much at stake
Then one blow from the hero burned out the flame
The people of the village would praise his name
